About
Educated in visual arts and graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts at OCAD University, I'm experienced in a variety of media and skills. As a bilingual creative (Peruvian-Canadian), my work draws from my culturally diverse perspective. It focuses on the exchange of ideas, and create exciting projects through conventional, as well as innovative means. I use my knowledge of visual art, marketing, operations, design, writing, technology and more, to develop ideas that solve problems. From personal artistic expressions, to unique design and conceptual opportunities, such as a remote eco-friendly island retreat in Nicaragua (Surfing Turtle Lodge), or the sophisticated needs of an established Toronto Art Gallery (Feheley Fine Arts). My life and living revolve around creative production. CV upon request.

Art Installation
I have taken part in countless art installations in various media. Ranging from, 2-dimentional, digital, video, sculptural and more. A project that was very challenging and most rewarding was a show for artist, Maskull Lasserre. The show included various artworks but the focus piece was a piano suspended from the ceiling.
Print Design
This was a special project for the memorial exhibition of artist, Jutai Toono, who had recently passed away, and a good example of several printed catalogues I have designed over the years. I developed every aspect of this piece, including artwork photography, and followed it through to the printing process, choosing the paper, overseeing the colour selection, as well as the printing quality.
Media Engagement
Through extensive research and compiling a large mailing list of major travel writers, I was able to achieve several major media mentions. Writing an effective press release and defining what set the business apart, made my work stand out from countless other releases and our competitors. By this work, I was able to place the business in publications such as National Geographic, BBC Travel, Lonely Planet, and more.
Project Management
I have overseen several projects, including art exhibitions, international art transportation, live performances, corporate commissions, and more. This particular project was a commission by Cadillac Fairview and facilitated by our gallery for Indigenous Inuit artist, Tim Pitsiulak. The largest drawing ever made by the artist, the process began from preliminary sketches, to the shipment of the artwork from the arctic and then framed and installed in the Toronto TD Bank North tower.
Display Design
I designed this display layout for a Toronto based furniture store. The brand Knoll is famous for its clever and minimal design. As such, this simple, yet effective placement of the brand fits right in, while the horizontal line ties the space together. The only material used was a stencil, ruler and some chalk.
Video Development
I have worked with various videographers, editors, directors and more to create engaging video content for various platforms. The theme, tone, length and mood of each video were methodically developed to achieve the greatest effect.
Product Photography
I have photographed thousands of pieces of art through the years. My experience in this ranges from intricate sculptures to 2-dimensional artwork. The placement and lighting are key to achieve the most dramatic and effective layout possible. The artwork displayed here is an exceptional example of Michael Massie's sculptural skills.
Website Design
Websites have become the most important tool of a business. Creating a website that is engaging, effective and visually appealing is a difficult balance to maintain. I have designed and created content for various businesses in various fields.
Web Augmentation
Faced with a variety of challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I was able to pivot several aspects of an art gallery into a more online friendly platform. This included a virtual display of artworks to more effectively portray the qualities of the pieces. This included integrating the software into an already robust website.
Product Copy
After doing some research into these chairs, I developed short, yet effective copy for the brand and design. Trying to target a wide audience, while still being specific enough to not dilute the effectiveness of its intended goal.
Client Facilitation
At a time when reservations were made via email, I implemented an online booking service, which greatly increased reservation rates. Automating the reservation process also allowed the reception desk to focus on other tasks, as well as for the owners to more easily oversee guest numbers and other reservation information.
Promotional Material
This promotional material was for a unique exhibition focusing on Inuit snow goggles. The concept to allow all visitors to "wear" their invitation as snow goggles was as unique as the exhibit itself. Clients wore the goggles through the exhibit and many still have kept the invitation to this day.
